Indonesia's men's volleyball team claimed the AVC Men's Cup 2026 title after defeating South Korea 3-0 in the final held in India on 28 June 2026.
The Red and White squad coached by Reidel Toiran won with scores of 34-32, 25-16, and 25-23. The match was tight in the first set before Indonesia dominated the next two.
Indonesia made player substitutions by bringing in Rama Fazza to replace Fauzan Nibras and Putra Hidayatullah to replace Ahmad Gumilar. Alfin Daniel, Boy Arnez Arabi, Hendra Kurniawan, and Farhan Halim remained starters.
Assistant coach Nur Widayanto said, "Alhamdulillah, it feels like a dream. Many people doubted this team, but the players answered with an extraordinary achievement." He also praised Reidel Toiran's strategy that turned the tide after Indonesia lost to South Korea in the group stage.
