Jamnagar Police Dig for Body at Factory Site

Jamnagar Police dug through concrete and soil at a factory in Dared GIDC on Wednesday evening in search of a body. The probe follows allegations that a man was killed and buried there two years ago.

The search targeted the remains of Jignesh, who disappeared in 2024. His wife had informed his family that he had immigrated to Australia.

Police received an application from Jignesh's siblings on July 26. The siblings alleged that his wife had killed him and admitted to the act.

Additional Superintendent of Police Pratibha of Lalpur division led the investigation. Officers questioned the wife and her alleged lover over suspicions they conspired to kill Jignesh and bury the body under the factory premises, located about 10 km from Jamnagar City.
