President José Antonio Kast held a two-hour meeting with leaders of parties supporting the government to reduce tensions and improve sector unity.
The meeting took place on July 3, 2026, at Palacio de La Moneda. Attendees included Evópoli president Luciano Cruz-Coke, Republicanos leader Arturo Squella, Renovación Nacional president Andrea Balladares, UDI head Guillermo Ramírez, and ministers Claudio Alvarado and José García Ruminot.
Kast stressed the need to strengthen trust and maintain coordination to advance projects such as the megarreforma. “We have faced certain structural difficulties in our country on economic issues, on employment issues, but we look very positively at what is coming,” the president said.
Party leaders agreed the meeting was positive. “We are very well coordinated,” said Guillermo Ramírez, while Arturo Squella added they would continue working together periodically.
