Kushagra Ojha's century puts India U-19 in command against Sri Lanka

Kushagra Ojha remained unbeaten on 103 as India U-19 reached 253 for three on the rain-affected opening day of the second Youth Test against Sri Lanka in Colombo.

India recovered from an early collapse to finish the truncated first day in a strong position. The visitors lost their first two wickets without scoring before Ojha anchored the innings with support from skipper Yashbardhan Chauhan and Manal Chauhan.

Yashbardhan Chauhan made 78 off 89 balls while Manal Chauhan was unbeaten on 55 off 108 deliveries. The pair helped Ojha build key partnerships after Lakshya Raichandani and Sagar Virk fell for ducks.

Play ended early due to bad light with India well placed at 253 for three in 65 overs. The first Youth Test had ended in a draw.
