The Film Censorship Agency (LSF) successfully held the Anugerah 2025 Awards Night in Jakarta under the theme 'Advancing Age-Appropriate Viewing Culture'. The event recognized achievements in television, filmmaking, and self-censorship compliance. Here are the main winners.
The Lembaga Sensor Film (LSF) Anugerah 2025 Awards Night took place on Sunday in Jakarta, featuring the grand theme “Advancing Age-Appropriate Viewing Culture”. LSF Chairman Naswardi explained that the event blends educational, entertaining, and cultural elements through engaging dramatization. “Unlike other cultural awards, it unites appreciation for three arenas: television professionals, filmmaking, and compliance with self-censorship culture,” Naswardi stated in his official remarks.
The primary goal is to promote age classification for viewers and self-censorship culture, especially for internet-based content not fully filtered by authorities. Awards were evaluated from 58,415 films and movie ads spanning August 2023 to December 2024, judged by 17 LSF members and 20 censors across six groups. Lifetime Achievement was assessed directly by the Chairman and Vice Chairman.
The night was enlivened by performances from 16 D’Academy 7 finalists, Lemon, Putri Ariani, Leslar Family, Aqeela Calista, Gilang Dirga, Oka Antara, Masayu Anastasia, Ungu, and Dewi Persik.
Winners spanned various categories. In filmmaking, 'Petualangan Anak Penangkap Hantu' won Best All-Ages Self-Censored Theatrical Film, while 'Siksa Kubur' took 17+. Cinema XXI earned Best Self-Censorship Compliant Cinema Chain, and PT. MD Pictures for Production House. In television, ANTV and Indosiar claimed top honors. 'Livin' Warung and Pasar' for best commercial ad, and 'Indosat Tanam Oksigen' for public service. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia as top institution, with Garin Nugroho receiving Lifetime Achievement.
