Comedian Luis de Alba posted a video from the hospital to report that he only suffered blows in an accident.
Luis de Alba reappeared on social media Sunday morning with visible bruises on his face. From the hospital he explained that the injuries resulted from an accident and did not put his life at risk.
The Mexican actor clarified the speculation circulating on social media. “I had an accident, so they brought me to the hospital where I am right now, but fortunately nothing happened to me other than blows,” he said.
De Alba also joked about the rumors of severity. “They were already killing me off, that it’s very serious. It’s not true, I’m perfect,” he stated. He added that he would now look like “the wrestler, the Atomic Raccoon.”
No additional medical reports have been released. The comedian remains stable under medical care.
