Police in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, arrested Tomokazu Moriyama on suspicion of abandoning the bodies of two men believed to be his 55-year-old brother Shinya and his 85-year-old father Norito. The bodies were found buried face down about 30 centimeters deep in the garden of the father's home.

Officers received a call on Thursday from a relative who had been unable to contact the father. They discovered the bodies during a search at around 12:40 a.m. Friday. The bodies showed traumatic injuries involving bleeding to the head and abdomen.
