Falu District Court has sentenced a man in his mid-20s to seven years in prison for gross rape and gross interference in a judicial matter. The crime took place in Borlänge last spring.
The man asked for a ride home from a fast-food restaurant in Borlänge. Once inside the vehicle he became violent, struck the driver and forced him to perform oral sex.
He also threatened to kill the victim or send hitmen after him. The court sentenced the man to seven years in prison plus damages of 350 000 kronor for violation and 20 000 kronor for pain and suffering.
The convicted man denies the crimes. The court described the offences as particularly serious in nature.
