Man från Missouri gripen för mord på rumskamrat 2019

En 53-årig man från Missouri sitter häktad misstänkt för mord av första graden, efter att myndigheter uppgett att han dödat sin rumskamrat och gömt kroppen i en plasttunna som dumpats i en flod.

Daniel W. Russell står inför anklagelser om mord av första graden, brott mot griftefriden och undanröjande av bevis rörande Michael A. Grahams död.

Graham anmäldes försvunnen i februari 2019. Mänskliga kvarlevor hittades månaden därpå i en tunna längs Gasconadefloden i närheten av en båtramp i Gasconade, cirka 14 mil väster om St. Louis.

Utredare kopplade Russell till brottet genom bevisning som bland annat omfattade betong som gjutits i hans garage och som matchade material inuti tunnan. Nya Facebook-meddelanden som kopplar honom till en av Grahams motorcyklar ledde till formella anklagelser i år.

Russell greps under helgen av Jefferson Countys sheriffkontor. Han hålls häktad utan möjlighet till borgen vid Franklin County Adult Detention Center.
