Mörksuggan firar 70 år på Dalarnas museum

Den välkända träsouveniren Mörksuggan, tillverkad i 70 år på Janersgården i Gisselbo, firades stort under veckan på Dalarnas museum med bland annat teater om figurens historia.

Under veckan arrangerades ett 70-årskalas på Dalarnas museum för den mytomspunna dalaspecifika sagofiguren Mörksuggan. Firandet inkluderade en teaterföreställning om figurens bakgrund och historia.

Mörksuggan har tillverkats som träsouvenir på Janersgården i Gisselbo i exakt sjuttio år. Figuren ses som en beskyddare i mörkret, en traditionell symbol från Dalarna.

"Har man en mörksugga hemma så är man skyddad i mörkret", säger museivärden Johanna Nyström. Evenemanget lockade besökare som ville fira den omtyckta dalasymbolen.
