Parents of missing Johannesburg toddler fear trafficking

The parents of two-year-old Milano Jayden Tlali say they fear their son may have been trafficked after he went missing near their home in Springfield, Johannesburg. The boy was last seen on Tuesday wearing a navy blue jacket and green Springboks pants. Police divers searched Wemmer Pan Dam for two days without finding any sign of him.

Tebogo Tlali, the boy's father, stated that other police units are pursuing leads on a possible human trafficking angle.

He added that the family cannot simply wait for updates and urged anyone with information to come forward.

“If anyone knows anything, has seen anything, or has any information that could help bring this little boy home, we are begging you, please come forward,” Tlali said.

The search at the dam has been called off, and the investigation continues.
