Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk is reportedly one step away from joining Brighton & Hove Albion after the clubs reached a transfer agreement worth 20 million pounds.
According to a report published on 28 June 2026, Brighton has agreed a 20 million pounds transfer fee with Leeds United. The 26-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at Elland Road.
Struijk, who joined from the Ajax academy in 2018, has made 196 appearances for Leeds' first team. Leeds opted to accept Brighton's offer rather than risk losing the player for free next season.
Brighton is seeking defensive reinforcements after releasing Jan Paul van Hecke and losing Adam Webster whose contract expired. Struijk has Indonesian ancestry but has previously declined to represent the Indonesia national team.
