Procafecol reports $637.832 million revenues to September with 18% increase

Procafecol reported operational revenues of $637.832 million as of September 2025, an 18% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The company also achieved profits of $56.290 million, up 41%. These results underscore the commitment to Colombian coffee growers and the strengthening of the Juan Valdez brand.

Procafecol, the company behind the Juan Valdez coffee chain, released its financial results for the third quarter of 2025. Operational revenues from ordinary activities reached $637.832 million, showing an 18% growth compared to the first nine months of 2024. Net profits stood at $56.290 million, a 41% year-over-year increase.

Despite global trade tensions altering the macroeconomic landscape, the company continues to deliver positive outcomes. In a statement, Procafecol noted that these achievements "demonstrating its commitment to generating value for Colombian coffee growers and focusing efforts on positioning the Juan Valdez brand as a national market leader".

In the store channel, sales totaled $345.658 million, up 9% from September 2024, driven by higher average invoice values and increased total and comparable transactions, particularly in the third quarter. The modern mass consumption channel recorded $88.355 million, a 23% rise, due to strong sell-out performance in major chains, portfolio consolidation, and onboarding of new clients.

The traditional channel, covering neighborhood stores, minimarkets, and self-service outlets, hit $40.552 million, over 65% higher than the prior period. This success stems from enhanced commercial ties with existing clients and the addition of new regional distributors. These developments solidify Juan Valdez's leadership in Colombia's premium coffee segment.
