Director Marcela Breguel of San Nicolás school announced via statement that a student found the threatening message in a bathroom. Given the severity, safety protocols were activated immediately, including preventive measures.
The school reported the incident to Carabineros and forwarded details to relevant authorities to identify the perpetrator. Measures are being assessed to ensure a safe return to classes, pending official guidance.
On Monday, a team of professionals will provide psychological support to students, parents, and staff. “As an educational community, our main commitment is to safeguard the safety and well-being of our students and staff,” the director emphasized.
The event comes amid rising concerns over violence and threats in Chilean schools, prompting strengthened prevention protocols across various educational institutions.
