At the Palau d’Esports de Tarragona, Rubén Burgos's Valencia Basket displayed solid defense to defeat Casademont Zaragoza 82-72 and advance to the Copa de la Reina final. Zaragoza led early 2-0, but Valencia pulled ahead to 19-10 at the end of the first quarter, led by Leti Romero. They led 46-35 at halftime after threes from Raquel Carrera and Leo Fiebich.
Elena Buenavida shone with smart play in offense and defense on Helena Pueyo, while Fiebich scored 18 points. Awa Fam and Khaalia Hillsman contributed inside, and Buenavida sealed the win with a rebound and assist with two minutes left (78-68). Carlos Cantero's Zaragoza rallied with threes from Hempe and Pueyo but fell short.
In the second semifinal, Hozono Global Jairis beat Perfumerías Avenida 76-73. Iyana Martín led the losers with 20 points, three rebounds, and three assists despite injuries, but Laura Spreafico's missed free throws proved costly. Andrea Vilaró dished five assists for Jairis, which will defend its title.
