María del Carmen Cumaco, 38, died after a head-on collision between two motorcycles in rural Palermo, Huila.
The accident occurred past 4 p.m. on July 11 near the Police Command in the industrial zone, on the road connecting Palermo to Neiva.
Cumaco was driving one of the motorcycles with plates JHU-25F and PMG-91G. She died at the scene from her injuries. The driver of the other motorcycle was injured and taken to a medical center in Neiva.
A coworker said the victim had two minor children and worked at a fertilizer company. “She was spending time with coworkers on a Tejo court,” she said. Police Criminalistics units are investigating.
