ArmSoM has introduced the Sige6, the first board in its Sige series to use an Allwinner processor instead of Rockchip. The new single-board computer targets AI inference, edge computing, and mini PC applications.
The Sige6 is powered by the Allwinner A733, a 12nm octa-core chip featuring two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8 GHz. It includes an Imagination BXM-4-64 MC1 GPU, a 3 TOPS NPU for AI workloads, and support for up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Additional specifications cover video processing up to 4K@60fps, Gigabit Ethernet with PoE support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and an M.2 slot for NVMe storage. The board measures 89 mm by 56 mm and weighs 47.2 g.
ArmSoM plans to keep the Sige6 in production through January 2036. The device is scheduled to become available for purchase in August from the official store and retailers including AliExpress and Taobao.
