Authorities raid six homes in Mexico City and seize drugs

Mexico City's Secretariat of Citizen Security conducted six raids on homes across several boroughs, detaining six people and seizing various drug doses. The operation, prompted by citizen complaints, involved multiple federal and local agencies. The properties were sealed under police custody.

Mexico City's Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) carried out six search warrants on homes in the boroughs of Miguel Hidalgo, Iztapalapa, Cuauhtémoc, and Gustavo A. Madero, following investigations into complaints of drug storage and distribution.

In Cuauhtémoc, on República de Perú street, authorities seized 54 doses of possible cocaine, 36 doses of weed, and 500 grams in bulk of the same. In Gustavo A. Madero on Ayacucho street, resulted in 100 doses of methamphetamine, 190 of cocaine, 99 of weed similar to marijuana, one kilogram of the same, long and short firearms, and six boxes of cartridges, arresting one man and one woman. In Miguel Hidalgo's Tacubaya neighborhood, finds included 300 grams of marijuana, 90 small bags of weed, 199 doses of cocaine, and 39 of crystal.

Finally, in Iztapalapa on Circunvalación avenue in Ejército de Agua Prieta neighborhood, agents seized 41 doses of cocaine, 154 small bags of marijuana, two bags of rubber bands, and 62 small bags of methamphetamine, detaining three men. The joint effort involved the Attorney General's Office (FGJ), SEMAR, SEDENA, and National Guard.
