Bitcoin ETFs record $424 million outflows on July 13

Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $424.7 million on July 13, more than reversing the $197.4 million inflow recorded over the previous five trading days.

The one-day loss turned the cumulative July 6 to July 13 balance to negative $227.3 million. Fidelity's FBTC posted $245.6 million in outflows that day, while BlackRock's IBIT recorded $185.5 million. Partial offsets came from $6.1 million into VanEck's HODL and $53.4 million into a Grayscale Bitcoin fund.

The reversal followed a week in which IBIT alone contributed $291.9 million in inflows. Broader participation across issuers had been identified as necessary to sustain any recovery.

Bitcoin traded near $62,611 on July 14. Funds would need inflows of $424.7 million over the remaining sessions of the week to finish flat.

A single block trade of 29.2 million shares in BlackRock’s IBIT Bitcoin ETF crossed at $43.16 for roughly $1.26 billion on May 27. The transaction produced almost no price movement in either the ETF or Bitcoin itself. Market participants absorbed the sale through organized liquidity channels without disorderly repricing.
