Bring Me the Horizon played their 2006 debut album Count Your Blessings in a new Repented version at Manchester's BEC Arena on July 10. The Sheffield band delivered tracks rarely heard live in recent years.
The show, billed as Outbreak Presents: Count Your Blessings | Repented, featured the full album reimagined rather than played purely for nostalgia. Frontman Oli Sykes returned to his early scream style for several songs, including the live debut of Dehumanized and the first performance of Slow Dance since 2006.
Other tracks such as Black & Blue, Tell Slater Not to Wash His Dick and A Lot Like Vegas also returned to the stage after long absences. Fans described the event as a generational full circle moment and praised the band for bringing back elements of their golden era.
The performance marked the start of a series of Count Your Blessings shows. Sykes had previously shared studio footage of recording new deathcore screams for the Repented release.
