Brooks Koepka and Cleveland/Srixon end equipment partnership

Brooks Koepka has become a golf equipment free agent again after mutually ending his endorsement deal with Cleveland/Srixon. Dunlop Sports, the parent company, announced the split effective immediately. The move follows Koepka's major win with their gear but recent signs of strain.

Dunlop Sports announced that it and Brooks Koepka have mutually agreed to terminate their endorsement contract, effective immediately. The company praised Koepka as an exceptional ambassador for the Srixon and Cleveland Golf brands. “Over the course of their relationship, Brooks served as an exceptional ambassador for the Srixon and Cleveland Golf brands,” the statement read. “Dunlop Sports Americas is proud of what was accomplished together and grateful for the professionalism and dedication Brooks brought to the partnership.”Koepka signed with Cleveland/Srixon in late 2021 after years as a top free agent. He won the 2023 PGA Championship—his fifth major—using a Srixon ball, driver, irons, and Cleveland wedges. However, after joining LIV Golf in mid-2022, he received less publicity and did not adopt the company's 2025 ZXi driver or irons.Signs of trouble emerged earlier this season when Koepka switched from the Srixon Z-Star Diamond ball back to a Titleist Pro V1x at the Cognizant Classic. The company had previously allowed a similar switch in 2022 while developing a custom ball for him.Koepka is currently the second alternate for this week’s Cadillac Championship in Miami. He has committed to next week’s OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic if he does not play, as he prepares for the PGA Championship.

Brooks Koepka has a chance to secure his PGA Tour season at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Teaming with Shane Lowry, a win would grant him a two-year exemption and access to Signature Events. The team event offers significant rewards despite its lighter atmosphere.
