Cam Heyward likely to miss NFL Top 100 list

Only one Pittsburgh Steelers player has made the NFL's Top 100 list so far in 2026. Defensive back Jalen Ramsey is ranked at No. 82. Cam Heyward now appears unlikely to join teammate T.J. Watt on the list.

The list has advanced into the high 60s. This development suggests Heyward may be excluded despite earlier expectations.

Heyward was left off a separate panel ranking of the top 10 interior defensive linemen. His 2025 performance earned a top grade from Pro Football Focus as the league's best defensive tackle.

Questions have been raised about the list's overall credibility. Players vote only for their top 20 selections, and the remainder is completed through an internal system. Similar complaints arose over other rankings this year, including Lamar Jackson and Kyle Hamilton.

Heyward's prior highest finish on the list was 42nd after the 2021 season. His average ranking stands at 70th.
