The match took place at the Ciudad de Caseros Stadium. Arnaldo González opened the scoring at the 33rd minute of the first half. Franco Quinteros equalized three minutes later and Facundo Mucignat scored the winning goal at the 46th minute of the first half.
Ciudad Bolívar controlled 58 percent of possession and generated two shots on target. Estudiantes had 42 percent of the ball and one shot on goal. Federico Peralta of Ciudad Bolívar was sent off at the 52nd minute of the second half.
After the result Ciudad Bolívar sits fourth in Zona A while Estudiantes occupies seventh place. Both teams' next match will be on August 1.
