Coca-Cola has released a new version of Van Halen's 'Jump' as the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The track features artists J Balvin, Amber Mark, Steve Vai, and Travis Barker. It accompanies a music video highlighting global fan unity through soccer and music.

On March 6, 2026, Coca-Cola unveiled its official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a reimagined cover of Van Halen's 1980s hit 'Jump.' Produced through the company's Real Thing Records label, launched in 2025 in partnership with Capitol Records, the track blends the original's iconic synth riff and guitar elements with modern reggaeton, rock, and R&B influences to create a stadium-ready sound.

The collaboration includes Colombian reggaeton star J Balvin, singer-songwriter Amber Mark, guitarist Steve Vai, and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. A music video, art-directed by McFlyy, features animated versions of the artists alongside teenage Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal, depicting fans uniting worldwide in an epic space stadium celebration. The video premiered on MTV Live, MTVU, and Paramount's Times Square billboards.

This release follows a January tease in Coca-Cola's 'Bubbling Up' campaign and ad. It joins the company's history of World Cup anthems, such as K'naan's 'Wavin' Flag' in 2010, David Correy's 'The World Is Ours' in 2014, Jason Derulo's 'Colors' in 2018, and a 2022 reimagining of Queen's 'A Kind of Magic.' Coca-Cola has sponsored the tournament since 1978.

J Balvin commented, “Music for me has always been about bringing people from different countries and cultures together—and ‘JUMP’ is all about that shared energy. From the football stands to watching at home, everyone knows that moment when emotions are high and you’re jumping for greatness. Partnering with Coca-Cola on their anthem for FIFA World Cup 2026 felt natural—it’s about hype, energy, and creating something that feels real. This song is about celebrating life and living in the moment.”

Amber Mark added, “Van Halen’s ‘Jump’ is one of those rare songs that transcends generations, so approaching it came with a lot of respect. Being able to honor the original while bringing a modern perspective was incredibly special. I’m excited to be part of a track that connects past and present in such an uplifting, powerful way, and I hope fans feel that energy for years to come.”

Joshua Burke, Head of Global Music & Culture Marketing at Coca-Cola, stated, “Being a football fan means feeling everything at full volume—the joy, the heartbreak, and the hope that keeps you coming back. ‘JUMP’ captures those shared highs and lows that unite fans everywhere.”

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, kicking off in Mexico City with Mexico facing South Africa.
