Darren Cahill has announced he will continue coaching Jannik Sinner through the end of 2026. The decision follows Sinner's victory at Wimbledon.
Darren Cahill stated at the post-match press conference that he is committed to the partnership for another year and a half. "I'm here until the end of 2026, and then we'll see," he said. He added that the team will discuss future plans at the end of the year.
Cahill, 60, had previously planned to retire at the end of 2025 but changed his mind after extending the arrangement for a year. Sinner secured his fifth Grand Slam title with the win at Centre Court on July 12.
During the trophy presentation, Sinner thanked his entire team, including Cahill and Simone Vagnozzi. The pair's partnership has been central to Sinner's rise to world No. 1.
