Dijon brings out Mk.gee during Coachella debut

Singer Dijon made his Coachella debut on Friday, inviting frequent collaborator Mk.gee to join him on the Outdoor Stage. The pair performed tracks including “Talk Down,” “Higher!,” and “Big Mike’s.” Dijon rounded out his set with songs from his album Baby and earlier releases.

Dijon took the Outdoor Stage at Coachella 2026 on April 10 for his first appearance at the festival. Mk.gee, whose real name is Mike Gordon, surprised the crowd by emerging to perform alongside Dijon. The duo played “Talk Down,” “Higher!,” and “Big Mike’s,” with Gordon also contributing to the overall energy on stage, as captured in footage from the event. Dijon delivered a 13-song setlist featuring tracks from his recent album Baby, such as “Yamaha,” “Kindalove,” and “Fire!,” along with staples like “The Dress” and “Annie.” The full set included: Baby!, Higher!, Yamaha, Another Baby!, The Dress, (Referee), Talk Down, Fire!, Automatic, Annie, Big Mike’s, Many Times, and Kindalove. Mk.gee and Dijon share a deep creative partnership. Gordon co-wrote several songs on Dijon's Baby and his 2021 debut Absolutely, while Dijon contributed to Gordon's 2024 album Two Star & the Dream Police. They have also collaborated on Justin Bieber’s projects SWAG and SWAG II.
