Djurgården reports 11.1 million kronor profit after SHL comeback

Djurgården posted a profit of 11.1 million kronor for the 2025/2026 season. The result marks a significant increase from the 3.3 million kronor earned during the prior year in HockeyAllsvenskan.

The Stockholm club released its financial figures ahead of the annual meeting scheduled for 24 June. Revenue from broadcasting rights rose by more than 47 million kronor, while ticket sales and corporate income also grew strongly.

Djurgården played to sold-out crowds at Hovet on 21 occasions and at Avicii Arena five times during its return season in the SHL. Personnel costs increased because of higher player salaries.

Equity now stands at 32.8 million kronor, up 11.6 million kronor from the previous year. The club credited private individuals for helping achieve the surplus alongside the improved television deal that runs until 2030.
