He proposed multi-layered biometric verification for purchases, including fingerprints or retina scans. "What is needed is for the 3 kg LPG subsidy to be on target, targeted," Said said.
According to him, relying solely on government data is insufficient. Repeated verifications are required to ensure only eligible individuals receive the subsidies.
Banggar DPR data shows the number of subsidized 3 kg LPG recipients is smaller than the allocated budget. Said hopes this system will make distribution more efficient.
