It was an open match, but we had the better chances,' said coach Paul Kujawski. 'The 1:0 was deserved in my view.' Six minutes later, Timo Barendt equalized for Neumünster (40th). After halftime, the hosts turned the game around: Tim Möller scored to make it 2:1. 'After the 1:1, we lost the thread a bit,' analyzed Kujawski. Despite pressure in the closing stages, Kazusansuke Ikeda and Justin Krüger missed chances for victory. 'The last 15 to 20 minutes were completely ours,' emphasized Kujawski. A potential penalty for Reinfeld was denied, and the game saw frequent interruptions due to injuries, including to Emilio Krück. 'Mentally, we weren't fresh enough today,' said Junker.
