It was during Tuesday's open training at FC Dallas Stadium that Ekdal had the task of marking Gyökeres. – It hurts to face him, Ekdal said. He whines all the time and that shows he has a damn winning mentality. Ekdal and Gyökeres know each other from their teenage years at Brommapojkarna. Ekdal stressed that he is tough and aggressive in his play but that Gyökeres hits back harder. The training is part of the preparation ahead of the World Cup opener against Tunisia on June 15.
