Emma Raducanu will compete at the Internationaux de Strasbourg after pulling out of the Italian Open. The former US Open champion has recovered sufficiently from a recurring virus to return to action on the clay courts.
Raducanu entered the draw for the event in France, according to the tournament's official social media account. She last competed at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, where she lost in the third round to Amanda Anisimova. Since then she has been sidelined by illness and withdrew from Rome after attending the pre-tournament press conference there.
