Emma Raducanu postpones press conference amid Wimbledon fitness concerns

Emma Raducanu has postponed her pre-tournament press conference and cut short a practice session, raising questions about her fitness ahead of Wimbledon.

The British player missed practice sessions on Thursday and Friday before returning on Saturday. She ended her second session early after falling 0-4 to Anna Kalinskaya and left the court wearing a strap on her lower right leg.

Raducanu had already been seen wearing an orthopaedic boot earlier in the week. The tournament confirmed she moved her media commitments to Sunday.

She is scheduled to face Antonia Ruzic in the first round. A potential third-round match against Aryna Sabalenka is also in her section of the draw.
