Hall of Fame running back Eric Dickerson has advised former Rams star Aaron Donald to remain retired amid speculation about a possible comeback.
Eric Dickerson told TMZ Sports that Donald should enjoy retirement after his dominant career with the Rams. "Stay retired," Dickerson said. "Enjoy retirement, man. Aaron did what he did."
Dickerson argued the Rams do not need Donald to return. The team added two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett and former Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie this offseason, and Dickerson said the roster is already strong enough to contend for a title.
Donald recorded 111 sacks over 10 seasons with the Rams and earned three Defensive Player of the Year awards. Dickerson noted that Donald has nothing left to prove after those accomplishments.
