Fees lowered for preschool and after-school care in Uppsala

From 1 July 2026 Uppsala municipality has lowered fees for preschool, after-school care and family day care.

Households with income below 10 001 kronor per month pay no fee. The highest income used to calculate fees has been reduced to 51 560 kronor per month.

Maximum fees vary by number of children. For preschool and family day care the rate is 3 percent for the youngest child up to 1 547 kronor.

For after-school care the corresponding maximum is 2 percent up to 1 031 kronor for the first child. All changes appear on the July invoice.
