Park near city center for 1 krona per hour this summer

Uppsala Municipality is offering visitors parking for 1 krona per hour for the first three hours at four locations near the center between June 22 and August 2.

The campaign covers around 400 spaces at Norra Hovstallängen, Katedralskolan, Salaplan and Fyrisgatan. It is run by Uppsala Parkering together with Uppsala Citysamverkan.

The goal is to make visits to the city core easier and highlight options just outside the innermost area. Paul Eskilsson, chairman of Uppsala Parkering, notes that many new spaces have been arranged near the approach roads.

Lisa Thörn, managing director of Uppsala Citysamverkan, highlights that Uppsala is a vibrant summer city with outdoor seating, concerts and shops.
