Fenix Flexin denies AI allegations for 'RUBBERZ' song

Fenix Flexin of Shoreline Mafia has denied claims that he used AI to create his new track 'RUBBERZ'. The rapper addressed the allegations directly on social media after fans questioned the song's sound.

The track, which Flexin first teased on Instagram earlier this month, features vocals and production that differ from his usual style. It blends elements of 1980s synth-pop and includes lines about flexing wealth such as “Swipin’ cards and stackin’ chips, I saw you sinkin’ ships.”

In comments on a recent On The Radar performance video, Flexin stated the song was recorded normally. “No sirrrrrrr, recorded same as all music I do!” he wrote. “Only difference is Auto-Tune reverb and me using my fake UK accent lol.”

Earlier this year Flexin told XXL he planned to experiment with his sound over the next two years. Billboard reached out to his team for further comment.
