The Jakarta Timur District Court has prepared additional facilities and special rules ahead of the first hearing of Tifauzia Tyassuma, or Doctor Tifa, on Thursday July 2 2026 at 09.00 WIB.
The Jakarta Timur District Court has set up two tents and installed television screens in the yard and lobby to accommodate visitors and media who cannot enter the courtroom. Court secretary Zulfikar Arif Rahman Purba said the measure was taken because the courtroom capacity is limited.
The visitor parking area is closed during the hearing. Zulfikar asked visitors to arrive early and use parking spots around the building.
The panel of judges handling case number 301/Pid.Sus/2026/PN Jkt Tim consists of Christina Endarwati as chair along with Rudi Rafli Siregar and Mathilda Chrystina Katarina as members. Two substitute clerks were also appointed.
Media are allowed to broadcast live only during the reading of the indictment, exceptions, interim ruling, demands, defense plea, and final verdict. The evidence stage may not be broadcast live so that witnesses do not hear each other's testimony.
