Kylie Minogue joined Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds onstage in Brighton, England, on Friday to perform their duet 'Where the Wild Roses Grow.' The appearance marked the first live performance of the track by the two since 2019.
The reunion took place midway through the Bad Seeds' set at Preston Park. Minogue appeared alongside Cave for the Murder Ballads track, which they had last performed together at her Glastonbury set in 2019.
The pair had sung the song on earlier occasions, including in 2018, 2013, and several times in the mid-1990s after the album's release. Cave and the Bad Seeds also played a surprise rooftop concert earlier that day at Resident Music record store, where they performed four songs including 'Train Long-Suffering' and a cover of T. Rex's 'Cosmic Dancer.'
Cave and the Bad Seeds' Wild God 2026 Tour continues through Europe in August and ends at Paris' Rock en Seine festival on August 28. Minogue has no further shows planned for 2026 but intends to tour extensively in 2027 for her 40th anniversary in music.
