LiveWire has acquired Dust Moto Company, an off-road electric motorcycle firm that has not yet reached series production. The move marks LiveWire's entry into the dirt bike segment. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
LiveWire, the electric motorcycle maker backed by Harley-Davidson, completed the acquisition to advance Dust Moto's electric dirt bike platform. The company said it will leverage its engineering, manufacturing scale, and global sales network to speed development and market entry. Dust Moto is based in Oregon.
