Manuel Adorni to submit sworn declaration on June 1

Chief of Staff Manuel Adorni plans to deliver his sworn asset declaration to the courts on June 1 in the alleged illicit enrichment case at Comodoro Py.

The submission of the documentation is seen as a key step to clarify the origin of the funds and the patrimonial growth under investigation. Adorni had stated his desire to present it “as soon as possible.”

The judicial case has been ongoing for more than two months and generated internal concern in the government. Adorni reduced his public appearances while the strategy to address it was discussed.

Patricia Bullrich filed her own sworn declaration before the deadline and publicly urged Adorni to proceed immediately. President Javier Milei stepped in to tone down the issue.

The original deadline was May 31, although an extension until July 31 exists. Adorni’s circle maintains that this extension will not be used.
