The event highlighted innovations in horticulture, drawing international buyers from 47 countries and showcasing sustainable solutions. It underscored the sector's growth, with Italian production exceeding €3.25 billion in 2024.

The Myplant & Garden fair, held in Milan, marked its tenth edition with significant expansion. Exhibitors numbered 800, utilizing 60,000 square meters of space—an increase of 5,000 square meters from the previous year. Attendance reached nearly 28,000, up from almost 27,000 in 2025. The event spanned nine macro sectors, including pots, nurseries, technology, machinery, flowers, and landscape architecture, across four halls and outdoor areas for demonstrations.

International participation was robust, with over 200 buyer delegations from 47 countries. Key regions included Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Romania, China, France, the Maghreb, and Turkey. More than 300 journalists, 10% from abroad, covered the event, alongside over 130 foreign companies as visitors. Prominent sectors represented were garden centers from countries like Austria and the UK, DIY/home improvement from Germany and Switzerland, landscape design from Canada and Jordan, and public institutions from France and Portugal.

The fair featured innovations through the MY Innovation route, selecting 35 companies across 12 sectors such as circular economy, aquaponics, robotics, AI sensors, and vertical farming. The machinery sector doubled its space, introducing a new Engines and Spare Parts section. New plant varieties included indoor algae, macro bonsai, variegated succulents, and trendy houseplants like Monstera 'Thai Constellation' and Zamioculcas 'Zorro'. Sustainable care solutions encompassed natural pest controls, endotherapy systems, bio stimulants, and soil regeneration with biochar.

Conferences addressed greenery’s role in wellbeing, urban planning, and biodiversity, involving entities like Coldiretti, Polytechnic University of Milan, and sports federations. The event awarded "La Città per il Verde" for green area management and launched a design competition for therapeutic spaces.

Italian horticulture showed strength, with 2024 production over €3.25 billion (up 3.5%) and exports exceeding €1.2 billion, achieving a €374 million trade balance. Overseas sales hit €1.3 billion in 2025. Globally, flower and potted plant production reached €24.5 billion in 2024.

Valeria Randazzo, Exhibition Manager, stated: "Myplant grows because it is built together. It originates from companies, trade associations, representatives, partners, publishing houses. It is a community. Indeed, it is a big family."

The fair previewed Myplant & Garden Middle East in Dubai from October 21–23, 2026, targeting the region’s potential.
