Nicki Minaj posted AI-generated images on X to wish President Donald Trump a happy 80th birthday. The June 15 post included four images and quickly drew millions of views along with mixed reactions.
On Sunday, June 14, Trump marked his 80th birthday with a UFC event on the White House South Lawn. UFC spent over $60 million on the fight, which faced a delay from weather, and seven federal agencies assisted with resources.
Minaj wrote “Happy 80th birthday Mr. President 🎉🎀” and attached the AI images. One depicted her beside Trump in a Marilyn Monroe outfit. Another showed both in black hoodies captioned “Real recognize real.” A third featured an animated version of the pair holding hands. The fourth placed Minaj, Trump, Elon Musk and Sydney Sweeney in a luxury car wearing hot pink.
The post, uploaded at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, has received over 9.9 million views, 139,000 likes and nearly 6,000 replies. Supporters praised her stance while critics questioned the images and her political alignment, which began publicly in late 2025.
