Obsession crosses 300 million at worldwide box office

Obsession has surpassed 300 million dollars worldwide, marking a major achievement for Focus Features. Backrooms has also edged ahead of Star Wars: Mandalorian and Grogu at the domestic box office.

Obsession reached the milestone after 35 days in theaters. The film led Thursday box office with nearly 3 million dollars, bringing its domestic total to 201.6 million dollars. It has held the number one spot for ten days so far.

The movie is Focus Features' highest grossing release ever. It stands within 21 million dollars of The Conjuring's worldwide total of 321.2 million dollars. Upcoming international markets include Germany on June 25 and Spain on June 26.
