Palworld will exit Early Access with its version 1.0 update on Friday, July 10. The developer Pocketpair has confirmed the release time following an announcement on the game's official X account.
The update is planned for 12:30pm Japan time on July 10, which corresponds to 8:30pm PT on July 9, 11:30pm ET on July 9, 4:30am BST, 5:30am CEST, and 1:30pm AEST.
Players may keep their existing saves, though the studio recommends starting fresh due to extensive changes. These include overhauled raid mechanics, new base building options, a revamped story, new locations, and adjustments to Wildlife Sanctuaries and Tower Bosses.
Palworld launched in Early Access in 2024 and drew comparisons to Pokemon. Nintendo later sued Pocketpair over patent claims, leading to the removal of a summoning mechanic. The legal case remains ongoing.
