Persija Jakarta lost 2-3 to Bhayangkara FC in Super League week 26 at Stadion Sumpah Pemuda in Bandar Lampung on Sunday, April 5, 2026. The visitors led twice despite playing with 10 men, but the hosts' late comeback sealed a bitter defeat.
Persija Jakarta opened with a quick goal from Rayhan Hannan in the 34th second off a cross by Allano de Souza, making it 1-0. Bhayangkara equalized in the 28th minute through Moussa Sidibe, ending the first half 1-1.
In the second half, Jordi Amat received a red card in the 48th minute after a second yellow, forcing Persija to play with 10 men. Despite that, Fabio Calonego scored a spectacular free kick in the 62nd minute, restoring Persija's 2-1 lead.
Bhayangkara mounted a comeback late. Dendy Sulistyawan equalized in the 86th minute, before Moussa Sidibe netted the winner in the 90+4th minute. Persija coach Mauricio Souza called the red card the turning point: "We started as planned... but that's the maximum result, and we conceded from their transition."
The loss leaves Persija third with 52 points, while Bhayangkara rises to fifth with 44 points. Cyrus Margono's debut in goal for Persija ended with three goals conceded.
