Philipson defends Lundsberg after SVT scrutiny

Bathina Philipson, who has two children at the Lundsberg boarding school, argues that SVT's documentary is driven by envy and Jantelagen. She spoke to Aftonbladet on 13 June 2026.

Philipson describes the school as structured and says staff contact parents when issues arise. She acknowledges that bullying occurs and references a court ruling in which four students were convicted of assault.

She rejects the picture of widespread violence and racism painted in SVT's series Dokument inifrån: Arvtagarna. The criticism is not nuanced, she says.

Philipson believes the scrutiny targets Lundsberg because it is an upper-class school. She warns against punishing all 260 students and 500 parents.
