Addis Ababa, Tahsas 24, 2018 (EC) – Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (Dr.) stated in a social service message that placing the China Development Initiative's steel sector project will make Ethiopia a beneficiary.

This initiative is a component of the green agenda and is being implemented in good condition, he said. The prime minister noted that the good progress observed in placement will be complete once agro-processing is included.

By placing the steel sector initiative, in addition to job creation within the country, it will position Ethiopia as a participant in import-export trade, he added. This step aims to boost Ethiopia's economic growth and international partnerships.
