Rais William Ruto amewateua Rita Kavashe kama Chansela wa Chuo Kikuu cha Pwani, Paul Russo kama Chansela wa Chuo Kikuu cha Kibabii, na Dk. Kevit Desai kama Chansela wa Chuo Kikuu cha Kabianga kwa muhula wa miaka mitano. Uteuzi huu ulitangazwa katika gazeti la serikali tarehe 2 Aprili. Rita Kavashe ataimu Chuo Kikuu cha Pwani, Paul Russo Chuo Kikuu cha Kibabii, na Dk. Kevit Desai Chuo Kikuu cha Kabianga. Kila mmoja atahudumu kwa miaka mitano, kulingana na tangazo la Rais.

Uteuzi wa Russo unakuja chini ya wiki moja baada ya Ruto kumteua kama mwanachama wa bodi huru ya Taifa la Miundombinu la Ksh5 trilioni (NIF). Anaongoza KCB kama Mkurugenzi Mtendaji.
