Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu returns in Springbok squad for All Blacks

Flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been named in the 43-man Springbok squad to face the All Blacks after recovering from an ankle injury.

Coach Rassie Erasmus included the player among 10 returning from injury. Feinberg-Mngomezulu sustained a high ankle sprain on 30 May during a Stormers match and underwent surgery. He has recovered ahead of the original three-month timeline.

The squad will split into two groups. One group travels to Buenos Aires to play Argentina on 8 August while the other remains in Johannesburg to prepare for the series against New Zealand.

Erasmus said decisions on the Argentina tour group would depend on players' progress during next week's training camp. The full squad assembles in Johannesburg on Sunday.

The Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series begins with the first Test on 22 August in Johannesburg.
