Santiago Nieto Castillo led assemblies in Pedro Escobedo and Ezequiel Montes, where 2,000 supporters gave him backing to head the Coordination of the Committees for the Defense of the 4T.
During the main event in Ezequiel Montes, Nieto Castillo heard requests from merchants and residents of the region. He emphasized that women are the fundamental pillar of society and celebrated the constitutional reforms for parity and substantive equality driven by the current national project.
Nieto Castillo warned about setbacks from PAN governments and denounced proposals to restrict women's voting rights. He stated that “it has been a very long night for PAN governments and it is time for them to go”.
The politician called for unity to defend national sovereignty against foreign interference and to work with President Claudia Sheinbaum. He stressed the need to eradicate impunity in Querétaro with honest governments and republican austerity, noting that “this is the only country to which we belong”.
